Yesterday, Visit Jefferson Parish hosted our annual meeting at Boomtown Casino & Hotel New Orleans, highlighting tourism’s impact on our local economy and unveiling our new marketing campaign, “Beyond the Big Easy,” which invites visitors to explore the experiences Jefferson Parish offers beyond the big city!

Our President & CEO, Violet Peters, shared highlights from the past year, celebrating the progress and impact of our efforts. We were honored to welcome Billy Nungesser Lt. Governor of Louisiana for updates on Louisiana tourism and recognize Heather Saddler with the Virgie Ott Award for her dedication to expanding tourism, cultural and business opportunities in the City of Westwego.
