Uncle Sam Jam, sponsored by LCMC Health & BMW returns to Lafreniere Park on Wednesday, July 3, 2025!

Enjoy an incredible evening of live music featuring Don McLean, Shenandoah, Payton Smith, Bottomland, Marine Forces Reserve Band, and the Victory Belles. The night wraps up with a spectacular Salute to America fireworks display to end the night.

This event is free to attend, with food and drinks available for purchase from a variety of local vendors. Want to elevate your experience? VIP packages are available, plus parking passes inside the park are just $20.

The New Orleans Powerboat Grand Prix is coming to Lake Pontchartrain from June 25–29, 2025!

This high-octane event marks the season opener for the P1 Offshore Triple Crown series and brings with it four days of high-speed racing, the Monster Energy P1 AquaX Championship, poker run, and a party in the pits with vendors, live music, local eats, and the chance to meet the teams and see the powerboats up close.

Expect thrilling races from a full fleet of P1 Offshore classes, including Class 1, SuperCat, SuperStock, Mod V, 450 Factory Stock, & more.

Local boaters are welcome to enjoy the races from the water, but must anchor behind the designated race perimeter for safety. The Bonnabel & Bucktown boat launches will be closed to the public during the event.

General Admission to the event is FREE. ​VIP tickets are available now for those looking to upgrade the experience.
