🚣 ROWING REGATTA ALERT! 🚨

Jefferson is gearing up for the 5th Annual WISCO Chase Rowing Regatta this weekend! 🏁

Racing kicks off Sunday morning, October 4, at Rock River Landing Park and along a 3K stretch of the Rock River.

Event setup begins Friday and continues through the first boat launches Sunday morning. Please use extra caution around the Puerner St. and N. Elizabeth St. intersection throughout the weekend.

📌 Here’s what you need to know:

1️⃣ Boat Launch Closure
The Rock River Landing boat launch will be closed to the public from Saturday, October 3 at noon through the end of the event, including Saturday’s practice sessions. The launch will reopen Monday morning.

2️⃣ Boaters: Watch for Rowers
Please keep an eye out for competitors on the water and observe no-wake conditions along the 3K race course.

3️⃣ Puerner St. Bridge
Spectators will gather on the north side of the bridge to watch the races. Expect reduced speeds and traffic narrowed to two lanes during the event.

Camaros are the featured vehicles this Fall. All makes, models and years of vintage character or special interest vehicles are welcome in the car show area.
