Mahanay Bell Tower The bells play the Westminster Chimes from 8 am - 8 pm. Hear 47 bell carillon play songs after each hour. Ride elevator to observation deck.

See the spectacular view and rooftop art installations! Tower is lit with colored lights every Fri & Sat night. Mahanay Carillon Bell Tower is closed for the season. Hours: Daily from 10 AM - 4 PM from Memorial Day thru end of Oct. and wknds in May; bus tours, special groups, & visitors should call The Welcome Center at 515-386-2155 to arrange a tour any time of the year. Tower Tunes Live concerts played by Mahanay Maestros are listed on the page & website and are at 12:15 - 12:30pm. The observation deck is accessed by enclosed elevator for a spectacular view. The Tower View Team has coordinated rooftop art that can only be seen from the observation deck. Cost of admission is $5 for adults and FREE for youth 18 & under courtesy of a local sponsor each year. It has been a popular day at the Tower! Shelby Sievers VanNordstrand entertained the community with a variety of Barbie songs on the carillon. She brought a great friend & her daughter and they’ll tour the town including Barbie By the Bells grand opening today. Syngenta is holding a big meeting at The Courtyard and many attendees came to see the view and rooftop art.
