From railroad tracks to motorcycle routes! 🏍️

Did you know Backbone Rock Tunnel was originally carved through solid rock for logging trains in the early 1900s?

At only about 20 feet long, it's known as the world's shortest tunnel! Today, you can ride right through this piece of history along Southern Dozen Ride #1: The Snake.

Got a few motorcycle parts or pieces of gear collecting dust? 🏍️

Turn them into cash at the Swap Meet & Yard Sale at Wrecking Crew Harley-Davidson on October 17 from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Shop motorcycle parts, gear, apparel, and plenty of other finds, or set up a space of your own!

Vendor spaces are FREE and open to everyone, with a 10' x 10' space provided. Vendors just need to bring their own table and tent.

Ride #8 comes with a pretty good pit stop this weekend. 🍂🏍️

Take on Ride #8: Vinegar Pie this Sunday and make a stop at Tennessee Hills Distillery - Salt House in Jonesborough for their Fall Festival.

From 2-6 p.m., the Salt House will have live music from the Adrian Bundy Duo, local vendors, food trucks, and fall cocktails waiting when it’s time to get off the bike for a while.

Cooler weather, fall roads, and a good stop along the way. Sounds like a Sunday well spent.

Ride #9: Mountain Ribbons takes you on roughly 140 miles of winding roads through the Appalachian Mountains, with lakes, mountain towns, and plenty of scenic stops along the way before reaching the Blue Ridge Parkway.

And this time of year? The changing leaves make an already unforgettable ride even better 🍁

Take your time, enjoy the curves, and make a few stops along the way at places like Watauga Lake, Moses H. Cone Memorial Park, Linn Cove Viaduct, and Grandfather Mountain.
