Johnstown was established in 1813 but settled by the Green family, whom many in Johnstown today call ancestors, in 1806. To commemorate the 220th anniversary of their pilgrimage, let’s publish a cookbook.
The Johnstown Historical Society is seeking HEIRLOOM recipes for a Johnstown Family Cookbook.
From appetizers, soups, and salads to casseroles, bread, and desserts, whatever generational recipe was passed down to you, can now be a part of Johnstown History.
Please send us a recipe, your name, and the name of the person who passed it down or made it first.
We would also love for you to send us a story or a favorite memory of the dish and/or your ancestor.
