A new mural was recently installed just outside the Portage Station Museum! 🖌️ This "Welcome to Portage, PA" mural features a collage of imagery highlighting the rich history of Portage and the Cambria County region as a whole. The mural was skillfully created by artist Michael Allison!

Celebrate America's 250th Anniversary in Cambria County! 🤩 A parade will be held on July 3rd at 6 PM heading up Main Street towards Sargent's Stadium at the Point. The parade will be followed by a Johnstown Mill Rats baseball game at 7 PM and, of course, FIREWORKS! 🎆

Check out this Multi-Sport Faith-Based Youth Camp happening at Pitt Johnstown June 15th - 17th. A three-day camp for 7th-10th graders, as well as a half-day mini camp for 3rd-6th graders! This is a gospel-infused sports camp. It is a sport-specific camp, so campers will stay with that sport through the three days and get high-level skill instruction from collegiate coaches! ⚽🏈⚾

In celebration of America's 250th Anniversary, Union Pacific's Big Boy No. 4014 will be making an appearance in Cambria County on July 11th, 2026! 🚂 The train will pass through Johnstown and will make a stop in Cresson, PA, before moving along!

Big Boy is the world's largest and only operating steam locomotive. Built in 1941, this colossal 4-8-8-4 articulated engine weighs 1.2 million pounds and produces 7,000 horsepower.
