✨ A brand-new Disney resort is coming in 2027… and larger families, this one deserves your attention!
Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is officially opening July 1, 2027, along the shores of Bay Lake at Walt Disney World. 🌿🏰
What immediately caught my attention is just how many options there will be for families who need MORE than a standard hotel room.
🏡 1-Bedroom Villas — sleep up to 5
🏡 2-Bedroom Villas — sleep up to 9
🏡 3-Bedroom Grand Villas — sleep up to 12!
🌊 Waterfront Lake Houses — sleep up to 5 or 8, depending on the size
Many of these accommodations will include full kitchens, separate living and dining spaces, washers and dryers, and private patios or balconies. The new Lake Houses will even be freestanding retreats right along the water.
And you're still right in the middle of the Disney magic. Guests will be able to take a water taxi to Magic Kingdom, plus enjoy pools, a lazy river, dining, recreation and plenty of Disney storytelling throughout the resort. ✨
I think this could be a fantastic option for multigenerational trips, grandparents traveling with the family, larger families who normally need multiple hotel rooms, or groups who simply want more space to actually enjoy being together.
