🌊🚢 I recently had the opportunity to tour Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas, and all I can say is... WOW.
I've toured a lot of ships over the years, but this one left me genuinely impressed. While I haven't had the chance to sail on her yet, seeing everything in person made it easy to understand why so many people are calling Icon of the Seas a game changer.
Some of the highlights that stood out to me:
✨ Category 6 Waterpark – the largest waterpark at sea with multiple slides and thrills for all ages.
✨ AquaDome – a stunning space with incredible ocean views by day and spectacular entertainment at night.
✨ The Pearl – a breathtaking architectural centerpiece that has to be seen in person to truly appreciate.
✨ Seven Pools – including the largest pool at sea and plenty of places to relax, splash, and soak up the views.
✨ Central Park – one of my favorite Royal Caribbean features, filled with real trees, beautiful landscaping, restaurants, and a peaceful atmosphere in the middle of the ship.
✨ Surfside Neighborhood – an entire area designed specifically for young families, making cruising with little ones easier than ever.
✨ Ice Skating at Sea – yes, an actual ice rink onboard! Guests can enjoy complimentary ice skating sessions and incredible professional ice skating shows. There's just something magical about lacing up skates while sailing through the Caribbean.
✨ Dining & Entertainment – countless restaurants, live music, Broadway-caliber productions, comedy, aqua shows, and activities around every corner.
What impressed me most wasn't just the size of the ship—it's how thoughtfully everything is designed. Every space feels intentional, whether you're traveling with young children, teenagers, grandparents, or simply looking for a relaxing getaway as a couple.
I left the tour understanding exactly why this ship has generated so much excitement. Now I just need to experience it as a guest! 😍
Would you sail on the world's largest cruise ship?
