Hot during the day and cold at night, Joshua Tree is a dichotomy of temperature extremes housed in a scenic desert landscape. Named after the Joshua trees scattered across the horizon, this national park attracts visitors whose interests vary from camping, hiking, climbing, birdwatching and astronomy.
