Staff Retreat aka evacuation 😆

Our Alaskan Home is sealed up and protected by the HESCO barriers.

Renee Culp Tl'aagunk and Kathleen Rado have strong hopes for this years' GLOF.

We'll update Thursday after the river floods.

Sending strength to our guests, neighbors, community members, and local businesses.
Stay safe!

Update after the Mendenhall Glacial Flood -
Rising above the glacial flood, our home stands strong! We weathered the storm and found silver linings. Our elevated rental escaped unscathed, a testament to its sturdy foundation. We're relieved no guests were present during the flood. Repairs are in progress for the first floor and garage, yet our rental endures. Kathy and I are fatigued but heartened by our community's unity and strength in the face of adversity.

Our Alaskan Home is safe!

You may have seen the flooding we are experiencing along Riverside Drive.

Several losses of property near us. However, we are high and dry.
