Not a bad 8 hours on the water. A total of 28 cohos, 5 halibut and 1 unlucky rockfish. We did land 30 coho but let 2 go. They had a great time working with Captain Sam! It's been a few years but she still knows how to run a smooth deck. After all said and done, 181 pounds of fish were dropped off at Jerry’s meats. FYI the fellas decided to keep the Halibut “small but good eating” since the season has been slow and focused on Salmon.

Great day out on the water today! We got lucky and landed these 4 beauties. Perfect end to an amazing week with my good friend from Montana! Jay Wall thanks for letting us spend time with the family. Feeling so thankful for finally meeting Captain Lucy!

Great day on the water! Sometimes Whales just like to swim up to give ya a show. FYI - the boat was in neutral and drifting prior to the epic encounter.

Out on a fishing trip today! Fishing was slow but the entertainment was off the hook.
Ran across a small pod of Orcas. All of a sudden this beauty decided to pop up next to us! I will say it was a shocker. Moving along at 3.4 mph she keep traveling with us. Popping up about every 1-2 minutes on either side of the boat. Fearing for her safety we remained on course. The others we initially started to watch continued on the same course approximately 100- 300 yards away! I was only able to get a few shots and videos. Thankfully my friend and fellow Charter Captain “Shelby” (49th Fathom charters) was out with us and captured a few shots! Thanks, Shelby.

A wonderful October day to be out whale watching. We saw half a dozen Humpbacks and enjoyed watching this one feeding.

We are happy they are still out and about. Best of all, we had the whales all to ourselves!
It's not too late to get out and enjoy these magnificent animals.

Today's Whale watching trip we came across killer whales training their young on hunting Sea-lions. This is life in the wild.

Still time to get out and see some Whales. Best time of the season is here. Very few boats on the water so you can get some great shots of whales without boats in the background.

First trip of the year to Tracy Arm Fjord. Only a few photos taken but they are very special.
In the photos with me is my beautiful daughter Samanta. Samanta is a new addition to the team this year and has turned out to be one heck of a good deckhand.
