✨🎎 Maui Obon Festival Season is Here 🎎✨
Don’t miss out on one of Maui’s most family-friendly and culturally rich summer events - the Obon Festival! This is a beautiful tradition to experience, rooted in Japanese Buddhist customs, where we honor and reconnect with ancestors through taiko drumming, graceful Bon dancing, and heartfelt community gathering.
Feel the beat of the drums echo through the warm summer nights. Dance beneath lantern-lit skies in celebration of life, legacy, and togetherness. Bring the whole ‘Ohana, all are welcome in this joyful celebration.
And yes, come hungry! Food booths serve up island favorites like sushi, saimin, teriyaki plates, homemade manju, and the absolute must-try: sweet, golden andagi - a beloved Okinawan-style treat usually enjoyed as a dessert. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside - it's a festival favorite for a reason!
🎐✨🌸 Visitors are warmly welcomed - come as you are and celebrate this special season with us! Come celebrate, dance, and enjoy this beautiful tradition with your ‘Ohana!
