Knowing his wife is a big fan of crime shows like Criminal Minds and NCIS, Logan surprised Cyra with my tour for her birthday on Friday. She didn't know until I pulled up in the van and she was thrilled. Logan and Cyra have been in Kona for two years and loved hearing stories about Kona's past. Happy Birthday Cyra!

Great news... The van ran flawlessly and the new transmission cooler is doing its job! I will start making tours available again on our website.

Tonight's tour was for Lizzy and her friends. Lizzy placed the winning bid on a silent auction back in December and won a tour for four. We had a wonderful time and lots of laughs.

Kona Crime Scene Tours has been out of commission for the last two months, but we should be up and running again very soon.

The van was having issues with the transmission overheating about two hours into the tour. Several steps were taken to resolve the problem, but the problem continued. After installing an electric fan to help cool the radiator and a transmission cooler to help cool the transmission fluid, we're hoping the problem is resolved. We have a tour scheduled for Saturday, so we'll be doing some test runs on Thursday and Friday to assure the van's transmission doesn't act up.

If all goes well on Saturday, we'll open up the booking process and start scheduling tours again. Stay tuned!

Kona Crime Scene Tours will be on hiatus this week so the van can get some much-needed maintenance work done. Hopefully, we can start scheduling tours again after January 30th. Mahalo for understanding.

Three generations of the Smith family on a Sunday morning tour. Twice a month we schedule morning tours for those that can't do the evening tours. Same tour, but you miss out on the van's cool light effects that are best seen after dark.

Mother and son on Friday's tour. He's heading home to Virginia tomorrow. I'm honored that he spent his last night in Kona with his mom enjoying my tour. Safe travels!
