It seems like Virginia and the damage here have not been discussed much. Please remember Virginia when you think of helping the hurricane victims.

Helene made landfall in Florida. But this was much more than a coastal-impacting storm. Damaging rain extended far inland all the way to Virginia. Here’s what the damage looked like there. - Videos from The Weather Channel | weather.com

A hope for some of our cats that would otherwise have none.

Beautiful Cosmo went home this week. He was here for just a day before his furr-ever family fell in love with him, but then he was able to stay a couple weeks more while they were traveling. And during that time, with his adorable face and personality, he charmed many more visitors here at Kona Kat Cafe. He will be missed by all but we wish Cosmo and his new family many many years of happiness together. Aloha Cosmo! ❤️
