So excited to share Italy with another family. These two parents and their 3 adult sons are off to connect with their family heritage, first in Palmero, Italy on the island of Sicily and then to mainland Italy to explore the Amalfi coast and treasured ancient ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum. In Palmero, they will tap into their family roots and tickle their taste buds on their way through Palermo town on a wonderful foody walking tour, and Chef it up making fresh Italian pasta & yummy gelato. Then they will fly to mainland Italy, where they will sail , snorkel, & trapse through the towns of the Amalfi coast, followed by full exploration of the famous ancient ruins. It was so fun putting together this great trip for them and I am so excited hear about all their fun adventures in Italy when they return!

🇮🇹Pompeii & Herculaneum: Theses Ancient Roman cities, preserved under volcanic ash after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, offer an unparalleled glimpse into Roman life. The violent eruption covered the towns in ash, thus preserving buildings, artifacts, and even human bodies in a “flash-frozen” state. This has made Pompeii one of the best-preserved archaeological sites of its size in the world.
