Tip Tuesday! If a Cast Member makes your day on your Walt Disney World vacation, did you know you can give them a “Cast Compliment” in the My Disney Experience app?
While in your app, click the “hamburger” (three little lines) in the bottom right corner. Scroll all the way down to “Cast Compliments.” From there you can select what your complimenting them for, their name, their location on their name tag, the date of the interaction, etc.
If the system successfully matches your submission to the Cast Member, the compliment is noted on their Disney permanent record card! When a Cast Member applies for a transfer, a promotion or a role as a Disney Trainer, hiring managers look closely at their record card. Having a high volume of guest compliments proves they consistently deliver exceptional service, and are living up to the Disney standard! Their direct managers are also alerted, leading to recognition within their team.
