These jobs are physical — start to finish. You're on your feet and moving the entire shift, cleaning multiple homes back-to-back. You'll need your own reliable vehicle (our homes aren't on a bus line), the ability to take direction and work within a team, and a positive attitude every time you show up.

No experience required. We train. You just have to be coachable and willing to work.

This is what happens when high standards, high expectations, and guest-first thinking meet on every single turnover. Top amenities, stocked kitchen, karaoke in every home, a place that's actually guest ready. None of it is luck. It's a team that cares about the details before the guest ever notices them.

That's who we are. And that's why we're top in the market.

Checkout day at Jayden's Place and Jayda's Place, and wouldn't you know it, Jayden and Jayda showed up to help clean their own cottages. Best turnover crew in Kalamazoo County.

Only problem, we went over budget for the day as they no longer work for candy and ice cream. 🍦

Some good news out of City Hall this week.

After a nearly year long road through the Natural Features Protection Review Board and the Zoning Board of Appeals, we have approval to build on West Cork Street. Three single family homes are also going up on Imperial St.

These are lots that have sat vacant for decades. They were platted as individual building lots generations ago, and that's exactly how they'll be built.

What took so long is also what we're most proud of. These parcels are wooded and steep, and the ordinance protects both. So we redesigned. We pulled driveways back. We cut the disturbance to the protected slope by nearly half. On every lot, we're preserving more woodland than the ordinance requires, and more than half of each lot will stay untouched. Protective fencing goes up before a single tree comes down.

Thank you to the NFP Review Board and the ZBA for a thorough process, and to the city staff who worked through the details with us.

Here's a look at what's coming to Westnedge Hill.

We've been hit by a Marine 🎯

One of our recent guests took it upon themselves to replace our US Air Force flag with a US Marines flag they brought from home. No warning. No negotiation. Just a flag swap and a smile.

We respect the commitment. We respect the audacity even more. 😂

To every Air Force guest who's stayed with us, we see you. We love you. Come take it back.

All branches welcome at KZOOBNB. The flag situation, however, is apparently up for debate. 🇺🇸
