If your budget allows, splurge on the balcony/verandah room! You will not regret it! I’ve sailed inside, I’ve sailed oceanview, this is my first time with a balcony and now that I’ve experienced it, it will be hard not to book this room type in the future.

I highly recommend Lago Mar Beach Resort for pre and post cruise stays out of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale! This resort is stunning and features both a lagoon family pool and an adults only pool as well as a beautiful beachfront. It sits just down from the mouth of Port Everglades so you can sit on the beach and watch the ships sail away.

Disney’s Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point is STUNNING! No filters needed. The sand is white and soft. The water is a glowing turquoise. We had an overcast morning but the sun came out blazing in the afternoon. My daughter lived her best mermaid life today. Pack the sun screen and good shoes. It’s a beautiful destinstion but that pier is long after a full day in the sun. ☀️🏝️

Listen. Palo Brunch is a MUST DO. I can’t believe I’ve been on this ship 3x and am just now trying it! THE BEST chicken parm I’ve ever had. THE BEST lasagna I’ve ever had. THE BEST tomato soup I’ve ever had. Trust me. Take your kids to the oceaneer’s club and treat yourself! You will not regret it!

And we’re off! Sail away party was a blast as always! Super smooth waters tonight! I didn’t even realize when we started moving. Our first time in a deluxe family verandah room and it is SO spacious! The Golden Mickey’s show was really cute! Next we’ve got dinner at Enchanted Garden. I’m super excited for our Palo Brunch reservation tomorrow!
