It's Tilt-Up Tuesday! Belger-Kansas City recently completed a tilt-up project in Leavenworth, KS for an area tank builder. Belger’s 275-ton Link-Belt all-terrain crane was utilized to hoist concrete panels for the construction of a 4-million-gallon water tank. Each concrete panel weighs 50 tons. This multi-day project went smoothly, without a hitch thanks to the experience and expertise of Dylan Cruz and Robert Shelton.

Congratulations to the Belger crew and thanks to our customer for calling on us to help with this project.

Let us know how we can help you with your next project by calling 800-888-2547 or visiting Belger.net and selecting one of our convenient locations.

Got a project where precision and timing are crucial? Better Call Belger!
Sharing a photo taken by Trenton Johnson of Belger’s 110-ton Link-Belt hydraulic truck crane setting a cooling rack atop a Target store in Derby, KS. As part of the store’s remodel project, the crew worked diligently at night to complete the installation. The Belger-Wichita crew safely and efficiently completed the job just a couple of hours before 100 mph winds and a storm hit!

We commend the outstanding efforts of the crew that included foreman Bo Taylor, driver Steve Jones, oiler Trenton Johnson, and operator Jason Summers.

Our sincere thanks to our valued customer for entrusting Belger with this project.

We look forward to assisting you with your next project. Visit Belger.net to learn more about our services or contact us at 800-888-2547.

Belger-Oklahoma City was recently contacted to set roofing materials atop the Founders Tower, a 20-story residential building that was undergoing renovation. Belger’s 275-ton Link-Belt all terrain crane was dispatched for this high pic project and the Belger crew placed steel plates down to prevent damage to concrete surfaces around the building. Tight corners were a challenge, but the crew handled the job with precision and expertise.
Congratulations to the following crew members on the safe completion of this job: crane operators Ronnie Bell (Belger-Tulsa), Josh Frakes, and Carlos Lopez; foreman Felix Martinez; rigger/drivers Junior Martin and Mike Montana; and apprentice Caleb Clemens.
Many thanks to our customer for calling on Belger.
Visit Belger.net for the location nearest your next project and for information about our crane and rigging, machinery moving, specialized hauling and warehousing services.

When a longtime utility customer needed a 550,000-pound transformer moved and installed, Belger got the call. A 500-ton hydraulic skidding system and 12-line self-propelled modular transporter (SPMT) were used to move the weighty transformer from storage.

Tight turns challenged the crew on this job. A truck and trailer wouldn’t have been capable of handling the load and getting it into position, so Belger opted for the SPMT. Because of concerns about ground bearing pressures and surface protection over underground utilities, the crew placed composite mats down before moving the transformer.

The project, which took five days to complete this spring, went off without a hitch. Service at the power plant was critical to the utility company, with whom Belger has a long history. They wanted efficient project completion and Belger had the right plan for the job.

When your move requires the expertise of a heavy-lift specialist, "Better Call Belger." Visit Belger.net to learn more about our moving services or contact us at 800-888-2547.

Many thanks to our customer for calling on us for this and many projects for over 80 years! Congratulations to the Belger-Lenexa crew for a job well-done: Drivers William Byers, Darryl Ford, William Harper, Matt Hartzler, Justin Stiffler; and operators Jarred Brotherton, Dylan Cruz, John Peffly, and Nate Wolf.

Yesterday at Riverfest members of the Belger-Wichita team had fun participating in Touch-A-Truck, where families got a free, hands-on experience with construction equipment, dumpster trucks, emergency vehicles, and Belger’s 110-ton Link-Belt hydraulic truck crane and Kenworth four-axle tractor truck.

Assistant division manager Larry Driscoll, crane operator Jason Summers, and oiler Trenton Johnson enjoyed raising kids into the equipment to explore, showing them how it works (including the air horn), and observing their expressions of curiosity and amazement. A big “thank you” to the Belger-Wichita crew for taking time to share their knowledge with a new generation.

We’re grateful to Wichita’s KAKE News for spotlighting Belger! Pool season has started, and we can’t think of a better time to highlight a Belger-Wichita project involving the removal and replacement of pool humidifiers at an area YMCA. Because it had rained prior to project day, plating was placed on grassy areas where the crane was to set up to prevent damage to the lawn. The new humidifiers that were in storage at the Belger yard, were transported to the project site, and Belger’s 250-ton Link-Belt all-terrain crane was carefully navigated to swap out the old units with the new ones.

We thank our customer for calling on Belger and we congratulate the Belger-Wichita crew on the safe completion of this project: crane operator Jason Summers; drivers Michael Appleman, Jarrett Moore, John Parker; foreman Joe Cupich; ironworker Mark Childress; and oiler Shawn Hunt. Photo provided by project manager Mike Dealy.
