Vacant Farm is sending out an open call for 2015 proposals. Vacant Farm is in process of organizing events and projects for 2015 and would like to include you in our calendar! Our emphasis this year is on world building, resistance, and alternative communities. Have a project in mind? Come make space!

Vacant Farm provides a safe and supportive location for any individual or group who is interested in cultivating, transforming, and redefining what it means to create and work in Kansas City. Through engaging with a diverse set of cultural producers, Vacant Farm encourages a unique, dynamic, and active audience experience. We welcome all parts of the KC community to utilize Vacant Farm as a platform for artistic expression, performance, meetings, music, screenings, and any form of community event through artist studios and event spaces.

We had a busy fun week! Thank you to all that participated and shopped at the Art and Craft Sale! Thank you to Yoni Yum, Scammers, Meat the Neighbors, Mike Pedals, and everyone else that made last Sunday's show possible! Thank you to those that came to support the opening on Friday for the last installment of Midwest Q***r Existence. Thank you to those who came to listen and discuss on Saturday! And major thank you to all the artists we have worked with!! Excited for 2015.
