We spent some time away from the resort enjoying the Ho’omaluhia Botanical Gardens, a Hawaiian grown chocolate tasting at Manoa Chocolate and some tasty food from Leonard’s and ChadLou’s Coffee. Everything blew our expectations out of the water. What a day!

Our last day was all about exploring Universal Studios Hollywood! I really enjoyed both Super Nintendo World and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Overall I had a fantastic experience and now I’m eyeing Epic Universe…

The Warner Bros Studio Tour was the highlight of the trip! I don’t watch a lot of tv so I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy it or not but our tour guide was super funny and knowledgeable, and getting to see sound stages in use with actors walking around in costume was a lot of fun. The tour has a little bit of everything from Friends to Big Bang Theory to super heroes to Harry Potter. You should definitely check it out some time!

A quick trip to Universal CityWalk for dinner, dessert, and shopping! I decided on Toothsome Chocolate Emporium for dinner and it did not disappoint! I enjoyed the chocolate old fashion, chocolate bread, and even the chocolate covered pickle 😜 After a little shopping to walk off dinner, a trip to Voodoo Doughnuts was in order where I had to try the peanut butter and jelly doughnut…..among others! Everything was amazing and I had a blast checking out these new to me spots!

Last summer I was able to take a trip down to Southern California to visit Universal Hollywood and Warner Bros Studios for the first time thanks to my host agency Gateway to the Magic Travel!
