Saturday, May 10th, today I’m at the Peekskill train station as part of Yay! Market’s Mother’s Day market. It’s very pretty out today and everyone is relaxed today. Come by and check out all of us independently owned businesses. Lovely and wonderful.

This was 2017!! This was my huge shipment of banks from Finland to start constructing the Vacation Pig kits. Phew! It was a mountain to climb, learning how to say and do what I meant and wanted to put out into the world. In fact, I didn’t listen to my inner voice and instead took advice from other people. All totally intended to help and support me, because I’m blessed with excellent friends, but I needed to trust myself the most. Lesson learned. And now I’m reconstructing the Vacation Pig path to getting out into the larger world and into people’s lives. One vital fact about being an entrepreneur: one must learn along the way and forgive oneself for poor judgment. Here’s to the near future!!

The travel season is getting ready to kick off!! No doubt it’s going to look very different again this year. I preach safety first, for you, your loved ones and all of the rest sharing this world with you. Mindfulness always helps create better results for everyone. Be mindful of masks, social distancing, including others in decision making and other healthful matters: drink water, use sun block, eat well and use probiotics while traveling to keep your body happy. Obviously I’ll be very mindful of using Sun Block! I’m looking a little pale after being inside for almost a year. ; ) I wish upon you each a love-filled travel season. Please, please be safe out there. 💙💙 KG

Working on a new website and sales/marketing plan. Mixing it up and experimenting. It’s my creation and I’m going to keep tweaking it until I find its sweet spot. That’s the truest fun of being a Creative and an Entrepreneur.

My work space has always been so important to me, after all it is my “other home.” I’m in the process of “restructuring”, in many regards, and my work space is currently being “re-crafted”. Because my work space has been capturing my eye lately, I know my re-crafting is moving in the right direction. I have to feel a desire to spend time in my work space in order to be able to create, consider, and produce. It’s where I spend a lot of time thinking about life, trying to map out a path to being a contributor to the good in the world. I spend a good deal of time at my work space keeping my word to people, and to myself. At times it’s like a “vacation” from the other parts of my life. It has a good vibe. The Vacation Pig is in the process of being re-crafted too and this photo shows where I’ll be working as I move forward with The Vacation Pig, aiming to map out its journey of discovery and inspiration. Time to work! Xo 💙

I want to tip my hat to all the protesters across the world, standing up for the fact that Black Lives Matter and for taking a stance to put the power back where it should always be: in the hands of the people. As a society our ACTIONS, in personal and civic life, must equal the words we demand for our own selves which is to live with freedom and equality which is our birthright as Americans! It makes my heart swoon to see multiple generations come together to support the call and fact that . Let’s, together, keep marching into a better and kinder way of living together. K

Delaware waterway. I love looking at the sights around me when traveling. I always opt for a window seat. I’ve found it’s the best way to see what a country actually looks like. It’s not edited and filtered through some alluring agenda when you see it through your own eyes. This helps keep a person in touch with “the human experience.” It’s critical that we see how something Actually is, in order to be able to lend a helping hand or create solutions to problems. I aways tell my children to keep their eyes out the window, and not on a screen. It’s the best way for them to learn what their country is actually made of. 💗
