Well it's been about ONE WEEK since we arrived home from our very first Royal Caribbean International cruise aboard the GORGEOUS Oasis of the Seas! An absolute game changer in the cruising industry - she was the largest cruise ship in the world at the time of her first sailing!
We stayed in. boardwalk view balcony room, embarking from Cape Liberty in Bayonne, NJ. We had a 7 night itinerary, with stops in Port Canaveral, FL, Perfect Day at Coco Cay, and Nassau, Bahamas.
We Stayed in the ship on port Canaveral and Nassau days, and enjoyed the beach and Oasis Lagoon at Coco cay. As veteran walt Disney world travelers, we wanted a more relaxing experience and as first time cruisers, we wanted to get familiar with what our ship had to offer without rushing to feed pigs, or learn how to scuba dive, etc. But that's just us! There are so many amazing excursions in Nassau- do you know there's even a tour curated around James Bond films?! There sure is!
🚢The ship itself was amazing and the crew was outstanding- from pubs, to karaoke bars, art auctions, trivia of all kinds for every fandom out there, bingo, and themed parties....there was never any shortage of fun! And the SLIDES OMG! there's three wet slides as well as Ultimate Abyss - a dry slide that brings you down right outside the aqua theater on the boardwalk level. 🎠
