🚢 Packing for a cruise soon? It’s a completely different beast than packing for a regular hotel stay! Before you zip up your suitcase, here are 5 things you definitely don’t want to leave behind:
️⃣ A Power Strip (Non-Surge Protected): Cruise cabins are notoriously short on outlets. But heed this warning: standard surge-protected strips will be confiscated by security! Buy a cruise-approved, non-surge one.
️⃣ Magnetic Hooks: Your cabin walls and doors are made of metal. Heavy-duty magnetic hooks are a game-changer for hanging wet swimsuits, hats, and itineraries to save counter space.
️⃣ A "Carry-On" Day Bag: Your checked luggage can take hours to get delivered to your stateroom. Pack a small backpack with your swimwear, sunscreen, medications, and a change of clothes so you can hit the pool deck immediately!
️⃣ Towel Clips or Bands: The wind on the upper decks is no joke. Keep your lounge chair secured without fighting your towel every 5 seconds.
️⃣ A Small First-Aid Kit: Pack sea-bands, motion sickness meds, pain relievers, and band-aids. Buying these onboard or in port can cost a small fortune.
