🍫🍰✈️ HAPPY NATIONAL BOSTON CREAM PIE DAY! 😍

Now THIS is a national holiday I can get behind! 😂

First of all… why is it called PIE when it’s actually CAKE?! 🤔😂 But honestly, with layers of fluffy cake, creamy vanilla custard, and rich chocolate ganache, I’m not going to argue! 🤤🍫

Did you know Boston Cream Pie originated at the historic Omni Parker House Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts?! It’s even the official state dessert of Massachusetts! ❤️

And you know what I’m thinking?! This sounds like the PERFECT excuse to plan a trip to Boston! ✈️😍

Imagine spending a few days exploring the city, walking the Freedom Trail, enjoying some delicious New England seafood, and of course stopping by the Omni Parker House for a slice of the dessert that started it all! 🍰

See?! I can turn just about ANYTHING into a reason to travel! 😂🧳

🌎🎢 Throwback Thursday! 💙

Sure wish I was standing in front of that Universal globe at Universal Orlando Resort right about now! 😍

Instead, I’m sitting in a gym watching Emmalynn cheer on her school’s basketball team! 🏀📣❤️

Don’t get me wrong, I love watching my girl cheer and I’ll always be there to support her! 🥰 But I sure wouldn’t mind trading these bleachers for a theme park right about now! 🤣

I think it’s safe to say I’m already overdue for another trip to Orlando… and I haven’t even been home that long! 😂🤷‍♀️

Once you get that theme park bug, it just doesn’t go away! 🎢🏰❤️

Anybody else wishing they were at Universal or Disney instead of doing this whole adulting thing tonight?! 🤣
