The Spirit Horse Farm raises ceremonial white doves for sale and dove releases throughout Litchfield, Fairfield, Hartford, and Dutchess Counties. Following the release, our doves are trained to circle over the release site multiple times before finding their way back to our farm.

Ceremonial Dove releases are a growing part of many celebrations. Our doves have served in memorials, graduations, parades, new business openings, birthday parties, weddings, and other celebratory events.

This pet-friendly vacation rental in Kent can comfortably sleep 14 people in 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The Spirit Horse Farm allows 2 dogs of any size for an additional fee of $25 per pet, per night. Cats may also be allowed by request.

The barn has a swimming pool, fireplace, game room, television, and a bbq grill outside. Linens and towels are provided. Canoes/kayaks are also available for guest use.

Please note that there is a minimum stay of 2 nights at this property, and guests will receive a 100% refund if their reservation is canceled at least 60 days before the arrival date. Guests may check-in anytime after 4 pm and must check out by 11 am.

Back in the early 2000s, before Airbnb and VRBO, The Spirit Horse Farm in Kent was known as a “cyber rental.” Owner Guy Mauri listed it via bedandbreakfasts.com and relied on word of mouth to book guests. Today, it is the second most “wish-listed” Airbnb in Connecticut.
The five-acre estate is the full-time residence of Mauri and his resident caretakers, as well as chickens, peacocks, doves, and a big fluffy Maremma (livestock guardian dog) named Tokoda who loves to greet visitors.
