It's tree pruning season and the most important part of this work is making sure you have the proper tools. We've been partnering with Barnel USA and PNE Tools to bring you the same tools we use here at our nursery at an incredible price. We also use these same tools at every maple pruning location.

Enjoy a 10% of discount when you use promo code "BONSAI" at checkout! Happy pruning!

In this video, we want to show how you can create a bonsai tree from an ordinary looking plant at a garden center. Robert travels to a garden center in our area to shop for trees. He picks up several ordinary nursery stocks and explains how he would upgrade one into a bonsai tree. This is just ONE of many ways you can create a bonsai from nursery stock. Keep in mind, different trees, artists, climates, and cultures will have different techniques. Watch and find out what tree Robert chooses and what he does with it!

This is from one of our YouTube videos from last year and we thought we'd bring it over to Facebook.

The second hour you will be taking a 5-6 year old outdoor Juniper tree and planting it in a ceramic bonsai container. At the end of the class, you'll take the tree home with you.
