Jess, a Vermont native, discovered his love for snow sliding early on. Thanks to the influence of a few impactful educators during his time at Johnson State College, he opted for the mountains over a traditional office career. When he’s not working, you’ll find him climbing, skiing, and mountain biking in our local ranges!

Mike Hattrup is an AMGA-certified ski guide whose pursuit of powder has taken him across six continents and deep into the heart of ski culture. A former U.S. Freestyle Team member, ski film legend, and gear innovator, Mike calls Sun Valley home and continues to blend deep mountain knowledge with decades of industry impact.

Rick Barker is a seasoned snow professional with over 40 years of experience in avalanche mitigation, guiding, and forecasting. He began his career at Snowbird Ski Resort during the record 1982-83 season, later guiding for Sun Valley Heli Ski and serving as an Avalanche Forecaster for the Sawtooth Avalanche Center for a decade. He continues to explore and share the magic of skiing in some of the world’s most stunning mountain ranges, from the Rockies to Greenland.
