⚓️ Do you have a cruise coming up, specifically from now until November?

Hurricane season just started yesterday which means there’s the strong possibility of your cruise itinerary changing (even last minute!). So flexibility is part of the adventure!

Use those unexpected sea days to try something new: catch a show, test your skills at trivia, relax with a book by the pool, or explore parts of the ship you might normally miss. You never know what onboard surprises could end up being your favorite memory. 💃🎭🍹

PRO TIP: Don't forget to buy that travel insurance policy AT LEAST 24 hours in advance of the storm being named so you're covered for any Trip Cancellation and Interruption losses.

The problem isn’t finding time to travel.

It’s assuming you’ll have more time later.

Later, when work slows down.
Later, when the kids are older.
Later, when life feels less busy.
Later, when the finances are just right.
Later, when everything finally lines up perfectly.

But if there’s one thing I’ve learned after helping so many people plan their vacations, it’s this:

There will always be another reason to wait.

And while we’re busy waiting for the perfect time, life keeps moving.

Kids grow up.
Parents get older.
Friends move away.
Schedules change.
Years pass faster than we ever imagined.

The travelers who come home with the best stories rarely tell me they’re glad they waited. They tell me they’re grateful they went.

Grateful for the family photo they almost didn’t take.
The anniversary trip they almost postponed.
The cruise they finally booked after talking about it for years.
The memories they made while they still could.

If there’s a trip living in your heart that keeps getting pushed to “someday,” consider this your sign.

Because someday isn’t a date on the calendar. 😉

Seems like such a short time ago I was still a teacher never imagining that one day I’d be helping people cruise the Caribbean, explore European cities, or check dream destinations off their bucket lists. ✈️🌍

Back then, travel was simply something I loved.

Now? It’s become something I get to share with others every single day.

And honestly, one of my favorite parts of being a travel advisor isn’t even the destinations themselves. It’s hearing the stories afterward.

The family that finally took the big trip they’d been putting off for years.
The couple celebrating an anniversary.
The friends reconnecting on a cruise.
The first-time traveler realizing the world suddenly feels a little bigger.

Today is Global Travel Advisor Day, and I’m just feeling incredibly grateful that this unexpected career path turned into something that allows me to help people create memories all over the world.

So thank you for being part of this journey with me. Whether you’ve booked a trip, followed along here, or simply shared in my love of travel, it truly means more than you know. ❤️
