The Quay Restaurant and Beach Club Key Largo

The Quay Restaurant and Beach Club Key Largo The Quay was built by Gus Boulis in 1985 and run by the Karidas family from 1991 to 1997 and is now home to the Murray E. Nelson Government Center.

The Quay, originally Figaro's Pizza of Key Largo was built in 1985 by Miami Subs founder "Gus Boulis". It was owned by Gus and Peter Liakakos from 1986 to 1990, The Karidas family from 1991 to 1997 and Nick Orfanacos and Charles Cafiero from 1998 to 2002. Just after 911 and Gus Boulis's death the restaurant was closed and the property sold to Monroe County. It was a beautiful property overlooking

the Gulf of Mexico. I was saddened when I heard of its closing. I have dedicated this page and encourage former customers, and employees to share photos and memories of the Quay on here. Paul Karidas, former owner the Quay. [email protected]
