Anyone shopping for phone service should consider Google Fi. They have cell carrier switching abilities. Meaning say for instance you have "Verizon" and the area you are in or traveling through only has AT&T coverage the network will switch automatically. The Google phones have this capability. There are other phones out there that do this but I'm unaware of any carriers that have this type of contract besides consumer cellular. The sim cards can easily be switched and work immediately. I can say from experience traveling across the USA the Pixel pro7 was outstanding! Some phones have dual sim slots and this would be a great backup to add.
