We operate the most modern fleet in the area with 4 brand new he

licopters and all our helicopters are equipped with digital traffic monitoring ADSB-In/Out for your safety. Our heliport (Keystone Heliport, SD18) is the only FAA and SDDOT approved heliport in the area; and is occasionally utilized by both the National Guard and Life Flight helicopters. Our pilots have on average over 1500 hours of aeronautical experience each and extensive training in the make and model they will be flying. Helicopter maintenance is lead by one of the best technicians in the United States and we utilize an outside service center semiannually to double check our program. Our modern aircraft all have EMUs (electronic monitoring systems) to ensure they are operating as prescribed. Most importantly, our weather decisions are based solely on your safety and comfort. Yesterday, the Black Hills Helicopter crew and our families watched the arrival of the U.S. President and the presidential aircraft fleet from our helipad before hiking into the Black Hills to enjoy an incredible fireworks display.

As we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, we’re reminded of the enduring ideals of liberty, opportunity, and the pursuit of happiness. We believe there is no better way to experience that spirit than taking flight and seeing the timeless beauty of the Black Hills from above.
