For 12 years in a row, Kiawah Island has been included on Dr. Beach’s list of the nation’s top 10 beaches!🏖 Kiawah Island earns high marks on his many criteria including cleanliness, safety, beach width, wildlife and more!..

Once again, Professor Stephen Leatherman – better known as Dr. Beach – has included Kiawah Island among his annual ranking of the nation’s top 10 beaches.

The Town of Kiawah Island met today to update the island’s face mask policy:
“Town Council met this morning and passed a new ordinance which imposes for the next 30 days a requirement that face coverings be worn in certain public areas [excluding open areas] within the Town of Kiawah Island. These requirements become effective at noon, Wednesday, July 1.”
