Storm Update from Kihei 🌴

We’ve received a few messages asking about the recent storm, so we wanted to share a quick update.

The good news is Honu House Kihei and Maui Vista are completely fine, and the storm has already passed. Life in Kihei is returning to normal and Maui is open and welcoming visitors.

One of the beautiful things about Maui after a good rain is how the island comes alive. The hills turn incredibly green, waterfalls begin flowing again, and the scenery becomes even more breathtaking.

Over the next week or so, some beaches may still have a little storm debris and the ocean can look slightly murky while everything settles. This is very normal after a big rain and conditions improve quickly.

In the meantime, it’s actually a wonderful time to explore the island. Think lush landscapes, flowing waterfalls, incredible sunsets like this one, and so many beautiful places to discover.
