The long kiawe thorns are capable of piercing through a shoe and into your foot and even worse, they are able to puncture a car tire 😮 The wall along the beach at Kamaole One is full of them as the Maui County never cleaned up after the tree was cut. Beware of little ones feet near the wall! aloha. 🌺

A 47-year-old Kahului man made his initial appearance in federal court Tuesday after he was arrested in connection with a series of found on Maui, one of which blew up and damaged a sport utility vehicle.

First time I was the one enforcing the law. Flocks of people were beyond the border/stop sign and within feet of the turtles. Only these remained. Disrespect is sad. $10k fine as a reminder.
