🌳Big Sam’s sleeps 6, with 2 King ensuite bedrooms, a loft with a twin daybed and twin trundle, and downstairs half bath.

Woohoo! The guests have spoken, and they’re asking for us! 🏆!

While we would love for the majority of our reservations to come directly through our website, we rely heavily on Airbnb and VRBO for most of our bookings. It means so much that our guests have left us all (except 1🫣) 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️reviews and it means we get a little better exposure for our listings!

Don’t miss the annual WNC Bigfoot Festival!

You heard me. BIGFOOT. As in, Sasquatch!

This fun and unique experience will be held in downtown Marion, NC on May 19th & 20th!

There is an indoor expo on May 19th where researchers from near and far share their Bigfoot evidence!

May 20th will be the iconic street festival, complete with Bigfoot themed foods, beer, and souvenirs! There will even be a kid’s zone for the younger crowd!

Visiting for the festival and need somewhere great to stay? Penny’s Peak is just under 30 minutes from the excitement!

There are SO many cute homes to rent on Airbnb and VRBO, right? Not so cute are the 6-15% service fees they hit you with!

When you find your super cute, must👏have👏place, look for the name of the house in the listing title. Do a quick search on social media to see if the hosts have a page and a direct booking website.

I repeat 📣 DIRECT. BOOKING.

Booking direct can save you hundreds of dollars, depending on the length and price of your stay! Not only that, but all the money you’re spending goes directly to supporting small businesses! Many of them still have damage protection included and optional travel insurance. You really can’t go wrong!
