Dowdy Park is about 4 miles down the road has basketball and pickleball courts, a great playground and clean bathrooms a block from Bonnett Street beach access and a mini golf course. Wednesday nights is a fun time to check it out with free concerts!

Bring your beach chairs or blankets, relax with friends and family, and enjoy an evening of live music in the park. Picnics are welcome, so pack your favorite snacks and make it a fun night out!

Get your steps in while exploring OBX right from our front door! These are some of my favorite routes.

1. Loop the Wright Brothers monument.
2. Follow the multipurpose path around for a big loop.
3. A little combination of 1, 2 with a quick stop at the Ocean Bay Blvd beach access!
4. My most loved, straight to the beach on the multipurpose path!
