🚢 Who has cruised out of Galveston, TX?

📈 Did you know that it is the 4th busiest port in the US?

🚢 With 4 cruise lines sailing year round and 1 sailing seasonally in 2026 and that growing to 5 sailing year round in 2027, you have many options to choose from!

🅿️ For my Texas Residents it is an easy drive and the port parking is close to the ships and easy to use!

🏖️ Visiting Galveston has a lot of restaurants and attractions to visit so if going a few days early sounds good, there is a lot to see and do!

🚢 Check out the Cruise Lines that cruise out of Galveston with a variety of destinations and a variety of 4, 5 and 7 day sailings

Completed the Vancouver Specialist Course Today!

🇨🇦 You might ask why I would pick this specialist training, and my answer would be that it is one of the busiest ports for Alaskan Inside Passage Cruises annually!

🇨🇦 Canada Place is the home of the Port of Vancouver, and it is one of the busiest cruise terminals in North America with 300 sailings each year

🚢 Over 20 Cruise Lines Sail out of Vancouver (definitely more than I knew)

🚢 To help cruisers plan their trip to Vancouver as a Travel Advisor I need to know about the destination! (I have been there 3 times pre-cruises, and I did learn things today!)

🏩 Hotels- Did you know that there are over 25,000 available rooms in Vancouver with 13,000 in the downtown area? Does anyone know the name of the hotel closest to the cruise terminal?

✈️🚞🚕Transportation is important! You have to get to Vancouver and be able to get around while you are there!

🎍 Sights to see while you are there pre or post cruise and there are plenty! I never suggest arriving on the day of a cruise and Vancouver has so much to see and do!

🧭 Vancouver is separated into 9 separate Neighborhoods with sights, museums, tours, outdoor activities and restaurants to visit!

🤩 Trust me I found some new adventures to see on my next trip to Vancouver!

🗓️ Cruise Season in Vancouver only runs from May-September, but there are many things to see throughout the year!

Many cruise lines have announced their Alaskan Itineraries into 2027 and 2028; we can work together to plan early! And since I always recommend arriving to a cruise a day or more in advance, we can plan some time in Vancouver too!

🏝️ Being a Travel Advisor is more than just fun vacation planning... It includes training on destinations, resorts and cruise lines. This morning I completed this Cruise Line International Association Course! I am working toward Certification as an Accredited Cruise Counselor! Remember knowledge is Power!

🚢 Cruising is one of the fastest growing methods of travel with new and repeat cruisers increasing at a regular rate since return to regular cruising in 2021

🤔 Survey facts shared in this training:
Pre-Pandemic the number of cruising passengers peaked at 29.7 million
The number of passengers increased to 37.3 million in 2025
Predictions show passengers estimated to be 42.1 million by 2029
90% of cruisers will cruise again
Cruising offers safe, flexible and enjoyable travel options
78% of people are likely to book a cruise in the next 2 years
The top itineraries with 44% are ones to the Caribbean
Followed closely with Mediterranean Itineraries
By the end of 2026 there will be 327 ships with a total of 700,000 births across the cruise industry, with more coming!
75% of cruisers travel with family, friends and multigenerational groups
63% of cruisers use a Travel Advisor!

🚢 Today was the first time booking Opening Day Disney Cruise offerings as a Travel Advisor for me!

⏰ Happy to say I was able to complete the booking right before 7am this morning!

🎃 The cruise is a Halloween on the High Seas (Halloween Themed) Cruise out of New York City! 6 nights with stops in Bermuda and Nova Scotia!

🚢 It has been many years since Disney Cruise Line had itineraries out of New York City… and they are very limited in 2027

👀 These cruises have great views of the NYC Skyline and the Statue of Liberty as they sail away and return

We attended this fun evening event on August 7, 2026. It was the first party of the season.
