Popping in from a long hiatus from this page — hello! 🩷 I still post daily on IG over at my .at.yogaway page, but I wanted to share a bit here about a brand new (to us) retreat spot we will be visiting this summer.

I can’t wait to gather with folks at Santosha at Hillholm Estate for a three-night retreat, August 15-18, 2024.

This is not your typical retreat! It’s dog-friendly, and there is a species pricing option for folks who want to join in community but do not practice yoga. For all the yoga folks, there will be several styles of practice as well as *sound healing* included!

The chef-curated meal offerings are epic, to delight our foodie hearts and bellies. There is a sandy river beach right on property! Nature adventures everywhere. On-site spa and wellness treatments. A summer walk into Kingfield town center.

Hello friends of Yogaway! It’s been quite some time since I’ve posted here, as my teaching, training and retreat offerings all generally share the same space these days at .at.yogaway . I did come across this pic of our last retreat to the Azores in 2018 though, and ahhh it made me smile so big! I wanted to pop in up share that I do have just a couple spaces left to join us at the very special on Sao Miguel island this October 14-19. I am so thrilled to post this update that our return Yogaway Retreat to in Belize is officially on the books and open for registration. Spots are filling quickly as many of us are so excited to travel again! To our dear friends from retreats past and future friends from retreats to come ~ we are still here and can’t wait to be back on the road! Our retreat schedule is quiet now as the world weathers the storm of covid-19, but embracing the BEAUTY of this world, the FREEDOM of exploration, and the magic of FRIENDSHIP is more alive in our hearts than ever. This photo of taken by on our Belize retreat last month - easily one of my favorite captures of all time. It’s absolutely stunning on its own but the backstory is also why I cherish it. These two women, new and fast friends, set out on a daylong adventure which included an incredible visit / trek to towering sacred Mayan sites as well as the opportunity to dwell deep in a cave pool for floating meditation. In absolute darkness. Where they listened to their breath and the time passing took on a whole new dimension. They had each other. They stayed grounded. Deep breaths sustained their presence. Michelle snapped this photo on the way out and I friggin love it so much. I know we as women show courage in our lives every day, putting our hearts and minds to work in this world and showing up with love and determination. But every so often it’s good to illuminate that courage in high definition with a step outside of our comfort zone. For ourselves and for one another!! Mia and Michelle took this journey, but the light in their eyes upon their return inspired us ALL. ✨💚

It’s day retreat time again!! ✨ Sarah Winslow Yoga and I ( Checka Yoga ) have approximately three candid photos together after 6-7 years of collaborating - because we always seem to be laughing instead 😂. We were talking over dinner the other night about how grateful we are for the opportunity to bring people together and be in community through yoga. It’s such a bright light in both of our lives!
