Silver Maple Camp exists to provide a camping experience where God is seen, His love is felt, and lives are transformed into the image of Jesus Christ. It is committed to strengthening the body of Christ by building up its campers in a Christ-like setting. Youth camps are for kids ages 9 to 18 with positions for

college age and older to help on Staff. Family camp is designed for families of all ages with flexibility in the schedule that allows for each family's needs. In addition to camp sessions, SMC's facilities are available for hosting your personal events, from group retreats to family reunions and weddings. Our mission is to promote the ministry of the church by providing a camp setting that exalts Jesus Christ - a place where people can gather to exercise mind, spirit and body for personal growth through recreation, learning activities, fellowship, Bible study and the worship of our Lord Jesus Christ. From small groups to full congregation outings, SMC can support you in your desire to help your group grow closer to God.

Did you know? You can get a $35 refund at camp check-in when you bring a friend that has never been to camp before!!

How does it work?
1. Invite a friend to come to SMC
2. When they answer 'yes' to being a new camper in the registration, make sure they put in your name as their referral!!
3. When you check-in to camp make sure you mention the referral refund for bringing a friend!

Please plan to be at Silver Maple Camp for this year's men's retreat October 13th - 15th. Our speaker is Dr. Keith Stranglin, who is the Executive Director of the Center for Christian Studies in Austin Texas and a professor of Historical Theology at Harding School of Theology. He is presenting a series of lessons showcasing the virtue of courage illustrated by men in church history.

Here's more about Dr. Stanglin: He previously taught at Harding University (2005-2012), Austin Graduate School of Theology (2012-2021), and Heritage Christian University (2021-2023). He specializes in church history, Reformation and Post-Reformation theology, the history of biblical interpretation, moral theology, biblical studies, and Arminianism. He has written or edited eleven books and many scholarly and popular articles and review. he is editor of the Journal of Christian Studies. His most recent books are Ethics Beyond Rules: How Christ's Call ot Love Informs Our Moral Choices (2021), and Super-Abundant Grace: Reflections on Romans (2022). He has served on the ministry or education staff for churches in Oklahoma, Tennessee, Michigan, Arkansas, and Texas, and he has preached in many states and foreign countries. He and his wife, Amanda, are the parents of three children. They are members of Brentwood Oaks Church of Christ in Austin, Tx.
