My journey in the travel industry began in 2008, sparked by an unexpected but instant love for cruising. What started as a personal passion quickly grew into a professional calling. For over a decade, I balanced my full-time career with a growing side business as a travel advisor, building relationships and expertise one trip at a time. In December
2019, I made the leap—retiring from my full-time job to pursue my dream of working in travel full-time. Of course, life had other plans. Just months later, the world shut down due to the pandemic, and the cruise industry, my specialty, came to a standstill. Like many in the industry, I spent countless unpaid hours working to support clients, navigate cancellations, and hold onto the business I had worked so hard to build. But perseverance pays off. In 2024, I was honored to be selected as one of only 10 travel agents in North America to join the inaugural Carnival Ambassadors program for Travel Advisors—a true milestone in my career. The program continued into 2025, and during this time, I found great joy in mentoring other travel advisors, sharing my knowledge, and deepening relationships with some of the most inspiring professionals in the industry. Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing some unforgettable moments in partnership with Carnival Cruise Line. I attended the naming ceremonies for the Carnival Celebration, Carnival Venezia, and Carnival Firenze—each a once-in-a-lifetime event. I was also invited to join the Carnival Sales Team on a chartered flight to Grand Bahama for the grand opening of Celebration Key, a memory I will never forget. Another incredible opportunity came with a weekend of training and ship inspections in Miami, which included a special visit to Carnival’s Miami headquarters. In August 2025, another honor came my way: I was selected to participate in the STAR (Select Travel Advisor Recognition) program at CruiseWorld in Fort Lauderdale. It was a full-circle moment—a reflection of the years of dedication, passion, and resilience. These past few years have been a whirlwind—in the best possible way! From unforgettable ship ceremonies to exclusive events and incredible industry connections, it’s been one amazing opportunity after another. What started as a simple love for cruising has turned into the adventure of a lifetime, and I’m just getting started. Helping others experience the joy of travel is the most rewarding (and fun!) ride I could’ve ever imagined. "With God as your compass, every journey is a blessing."
