OFFICIAL WALT DISNEY WORLD CLOSURE INFO

• Walt Disney World will close March 16.

• At this point, they expect to reopen April 1.

• Disney hotels will remain open.

• Disney Springs will remain open.

• If you had tickets with a start date before March 31, they are automatically extended to any date before December 15, 2020. If you can't visit before then, you can apply the value you paid for the ticket to your next trip.

• If you have multiday tickets that have been used but have remaining days that expire before March 31 (like you are currently there now), they have also been extended to December 15, 2020.

• Florida Discovery tickets have been extended to July 31, 2020.

• Tickets for After Hours, Villains After Hours, and Early Morning Magic for dates from March 16-March 31 will be automatically refunded to the card you use to purchase them.

• Annual passes will automatically be extended for the number of days WDW is closed.

• If you have an onsite reservation that starts during that period, you can modify or cancel it online without penalty. If you do nothing, it will automatically be refunded within 7 days of your expected check in date to the card you used originally.

• If you have a trip after the closure, but want to cancel it, you can do so without penalty through check in dates of June 30, 2020.

• All prepaid items like CRT or Build a Droid will be automatically refunded.

• Cast Members will still be paid.
