Howdy from Kingsville, home of Texas heritage & history

A charming Texas city, located just 33 miles south of Corpus Christi, Kingsville, Texas has a little bit of fun for everyone! We got our name from the founder of the famous King Ranch, Richard King. It was on July 4, 1904 when the first train regular passenger train passed through Kingsville that the town was founded. Exactly 100 years later – the site reopened – and today the 1904 Train Depot Museum is a fun spot to visit.

It sits less than a quarter mile away from the King Ranch Museum, where you can experience life on King Ranch in the early 1940’s through a photographic essay tour, see saddles from all over the world and admire our collection antique carriages and vintage cars. We’ve also got the King Ranch truck in our collection!

If you want to take a piece of the ranch home, why not visit the King Ranch Saddle Shop, where you’ll find high quality leather products, jewelry and saddles, of course!

We have a collection of shops, that dot E. Kleberg Ave. and lead you right to the Texas Theater and H.E.B.
