Save the date and make a weekend of it in Kinston! 🎶

On Monday, December 7 at 7:00 PM, the Kinston-Lenoir Community Chorus and the North Carolina Baroque Orchestra will present Handel’s Messiah at First Presbyterian Church, Kinston, North Carolina celebrating 28 years of this holiday tradition.

Featuring soloists Walter Swan, Deborah Nansteel, Mahari Freeman and Makudu Senaoana, with the Kinston-Lenoir Community Chorus directed by Jane Cain.

Admission is free, and donations are appreciated.

Visit the Governor Richard Caswell Memorial State Historic Site on November 21st from 10am to 3pm.
The CSS Neuse Civil War Museum is hosting a Revolutionary mustering the militia living history. This event will feature musket demos, swivel gun demos, and camp life demos.

The event is FREE to the public and we look forward to seeing you there!

If walls could talk, Harmony Hall would have more than a few stories to share.

Built in 1772, Harmony Hall is considered the oldest house of true historical significance still standing in Kinston. At first glance, it is a handsome example of colonial architecture--solid, balanced, and welcoming.

Step inside its "great room," with its large open fireplaces, and it is easy to picture families gathered close to the hearth. But this house was never just a quiet home. It stood at the center of history.

Join us for a two-day guided thrift-and-antique shopping adventure through Lenoir County on October 20 and 21.

Meet at the Kinston Visitor Center to hop aboard an air-conditioned coach and let the locals handle the driving.

This tour is limited to 21 guests. The $75 per person price includes breakfast and lunch, as well as giveaways at every stop.
