The Community Council for the Arts-Kinston, NC is where imagination calls home in Kinston. Nestled in the heart of downtown, this organization has been around for more than 50 years. they provide funding for local artists, workshops to teach you how to paint or sculpt or throw a pot. They even have a arts store so you can take a little imagination home with you.

Pop on over to our 30,000 sq. ft. renovated space and browse through creations by local and regional artists.

Pack up a little curiosity and head on over.

A brand-new Bluegrass, Country, and Gospel music festival is headed to Kinston on September 5 on the beautiful grounds of Stonington Farms!

The Stonington Farms Music Festival will be a day and evening to remember under the stars! Good music, family fun, and much more.

Appearing will be Shannon Baker & sometime soon, The Lovesick Drifters, A Deeper Shade of Blue Lorraine's Coffee House & Music , and The Malpass Brothers.

In Kinston, imagination has a door --seven actually.

In the heart of downtown, in what has become the Arts District, you’ll find seven to***co barn facades called Flue. They are built on a lot that once was Brooks To***co Warehouse.

Each piece stands 28 feet tall and 16 feet wide casting shadows over an empty field. The sculptures were erected here by world-renowned artist Thomas Sayre --using the dirt found on the site.

The project is a way to pay respect to Kinston’s to***co heritage while looking forward to its arts-based future.
