Are you ready for St. Patrick’s Day? On March 17th the 37th annual St. Patrick’s Day 5K and 1.5 mile walk begins at 5:30 p.m. at the DuKum Inn, 115 S. Elson. Packet pickup is at 4:00 p.m. on race day at the DuKum Inn. Proceeds benefit the Forest Lake Area Trail System (FLATS). Register at: active.com; or at the ATSU Thompson Campus Center. Enjoy the Phi Mu Alpha Jazz Fest Concert, featuring tenor saxophonist, Roxy Coss, at 6:30 p.m. in Baldwin Hall Auditorium. Face masks are required inside buildings on the Truman campus. For more information call 660-785-4417.

Musician, Composer, Bandleader, Recording Artist, Educator and Activist Roxy Coss has become one of the most unique and innovative Saxophonists on the scene. Winner of a 2016 ASCAP Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Award, the Downbeat Critics’ Poll listed her as a “Rising Star” on Soprano Saxophone the past seven years in a row, and a Downbeat Magazine review called her “An exceptional young talent”.

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Kirksville. Enjoy the ATSU Reindeer Romp on December 4th at 9:00 a.m. Santa arrives in town on Saturday, December 4th. Meet him at Breakfast with Santa sponsored by Kirksville Parks and Recreation Department. Watch the Kiwanis Christmas Parade downtown at 5:00 p.m. Visit Santa from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Downtown Cinema 8.
