Great news, everyone! I'm moving back to Tahoe in January! That means more massage therapy with Body Slopes Massage at Kirkwood Mountain Ski Area! You can also find me on Heavenly Mountain - this year I'll be working as a Mountain Safety Attendant. That means I'll be skiing around helping clients with trail maps, advice, and education about safety guidelines on the mountain.

Body Slopes Massage will be officially opening for appointments on December 17, serving vaccinated clients at our Kirkwood Community Association office and with house calls. Please note that we will be requiring proof of vaccination, as well as a 15 minute intake prior to the beginning of each massage session. We will be taking extra time in between clients to clean and sanitize our space - all of these efforts are aimed at protecting the community and our therapists. We look forward to seeing you all on the slopes and in the office!

Golden grasses beneath a volcanic cliff
I am confronted by this dead tree
Silvered, dry, still standing tall
Against the forces of snow and wind and gravity
Looking out at Thimble Peak
This view that takes a lot of looking
It is arresting
Forbidding
Endlessly seductive
I wonder, do the neighboring trees
Still feed this silver monolith?
