Hello - As new owners of the lovely Encantada-Vacation property, we wanted to introduce ourselves and offer a HUGE thanks to the prior owners for so many detailed instructions and support to ensure a seamless transition. We are already hosting the first guests this week and their arrival was a smooth one.

As for a bit of background about us, we are a small family that loves Disney and the Florida lifestyle. As long-term Florida residents, we are frequent guests at all the Orlando attractions, plus those in other nearby areas. We look forward to sharing those experiences with you. We have hired a professional property management company with an outstanding cleaning reputation. We look forward to delivering you a 5-star experience and helping you create many fond vacation memories.

A change in ownership is coming along now, and expected to be in place December 6th 2021. We are glad to have served you all, and made some long standing relationships, but time and tide wait for no man. And so its time to move on, and hand the reigns over to the new owner of our home. We wish them all the success in the world, and hope they enjoy our home as much as we did over the last 12 years.

As we start to drive into recovery across the sector, and as its been a while since we were permitted to visit Florida, a question struck me.
Do guests still wish to see rental homes offer something different, or is what we do right for the market?
A break for everyone usually means they'd like to see changes, if thats the case with our home, we welcome any suggestions you would like to make.

We hope other vacation rentals are picking up, it's been a difficult year or more for many of us.

We've kept our pricing as we understand how difficult it might be to afford a holiday after being furloughed or out of work.

Yes its reached us, that good people need to have respite, and after this debacle we'd like to be there to offer you something we hope you'd take advantage of.

Simply put, $100/night minimum 5 nights, no parties, or gatherings that would impact our neightbours please.

So with 13.5% tax, for a family of 6 thats $113.5 per night, better value than any local hotel.

We are proud to say, that we have now changed our management company, to one who follows our ethos of a family orientated focus.
Kernow Homes run By Paul and his wife are now looking after our home, ensuring we meet or exceed any criteria around sanitising for Covid-19 as one example.
Paul is always, discussing his work with us on WhatsApp; and takes an interest in what we have done in our home, so that he can replicate this to others, and likewise brings us ideas from others, so we can all benefit from shared knowledge, and pass this on to our guests.
Its a another step forward in what is a challenging year , but we remain optomistic that we are continuing to do the right thing.

Just a quick update for anyone following, or looking to book with us and who is visiting our website: We are in the process of updating the entire site, booking calendar and payment system.
After the recent SCA updates, we are please to be offering a more robust payment system now, in partnership with industry leader Stripe.
Fully compliant; secure payments are now benefiting from their updated security.
The next steps for us, are to manage the new booking calendar, and ensure the Stripe integration can move forward with this, so, please bear with me as I complete this.
Look back after a while, and we will advise when complete, or if you wanted to know before we post it here, send a DM and I'll let you be one of the first to knw.
