On Friday morning, I made the short trip from home to start my day at Camp Milton Loop.
If you are looking for spacious, well maintained, quiet campsites, this is the place for you. Each campsite is bigger than a lot of backyards! Space and peace and quiet is the vibe here! As we left the camp store and started walking, you can just feel the slow down and rest. Your camp host, Jim, is available and on site and ready to help and make sure you ask him about his Pez collection!
You say that you don’t have a camper? Wait, they have you covered! The little cabins that they have named and decorated are just so cute. For $60 a night, you can rent one of these air conditioned cabins and soak in the quiet. …I am thinking I could hide out for a few days with my art supplies!
Don’t forget that you are right beside Milton Creek and Lake and minutes from Gearhart's Grab N Go if you need groceries or don’t feel like cooking. Trust me, they have some pretty awesome pizza!
So grab your kayak, your fishing pole, ingredients for s’mores and a lawn chair and you are ready to unwind in beautiful Armstrong County!
