Collecting property ownerā€™s association information (dues, fees, special assessments, amenities, and all the details that come with it).

When purchasing property on the Outer Banks, itā€™s important to understand the full picture of what youā€™re buying before you buy. Not all HOAs/POAs are the same. Some offer a lot to owners and some offer very little.

You need to know what those extra monthly, quarterly, or annual costs will be, what amenities are included, what rules or restrictions may apply, and whether there are any current or potential future special assessments. Those assessments can sometimes be a few thousand dollarsā€¦ and in certain situations can be significantly more.

A little sneak peek of Corolla, NC šŸŒ¾šŸŒŠ

Yesterday I spent some time at Historic Corolla Park taking in the views, history, and slower pace that makes Corolla feel so unique on the Outer Banks. From the iconic Currituck Beach Lighthouse, guiding mariners since 1875, to the beautifully restored Whalehead Club overlooking the sound, this area is full of history and coastal charm.

Iā€™m working on a longer video where Iā€™ll dive a little deeper into Corolla, the area, and what makes this part of the OBX so special, including a little real estate insight too. So, stay tuned for that.
