But standing beside him is Eyan Eagle, owner of Sun Ease Rentals, located inside True Coast in Kill Devil Hills.

From beach chair and umbrella rentals to surfboards and local products, Eyan is building a business rooted in helping people enjoy the Outer Banks while supporting other local businesses along the way.

What began as an idea has grown into a business providing beach chair and umbrella rentals, tent setups, surfboards, local products, and more—all with a passion for helping people enjoy the Outer Banks.

We recently sat down with Eyan to learn about his journey from lifeguard tower to business owner, the challenges of running a seasonal business, and the dream he's building for the future.
