🌟 Hello, August! 🌟

As we turn the page from a whirlwind July, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every client, renter, and team member who made this past month possible.

July brought the heat—and a whole lot of hustle! Our Coastal Cleaning 252 crew showed up and showed out, completing 20+ turnovers every Saturday and Sunday — with only 12 hours to have each home guest-ready. And that’s not including the hard work we put in throughout the week!

We are incredibly proud of our dedicated team and beyond thankful for the continued support from our amazing clients and community. Summer has been a wild ride—but we’re definitely looking forward to slower days, cooler weather, and everything fall has to offer. 🍂✨

Here’s to a new month full of opportunity, gratitude, and clean spaces. Bring it on, August! 💪🧼

✨ This year brought something new to Coastal Cleaning 252… and we’re so glad it did.

For the first time, we opened our schedule to residential clients, and it’s been one of the most rewarding shifts we’ve made. 🌿

After the hustle of a busy vacation rental weekend, there’s something peaceful about stepping into a personal home — a space that’s lived in, loved, and full of stories. We’ve had the joy of getting to know our clients on a deeper level: catching up on life, swapping stories about children and grandchildren, and simply connecting as people.

What stands out most is the pride you take in your homes. You’ve worked hard to build these beautiful spaces, and it’s our honor to help lighten your load — so you can enjoy the life you’ve created without the stress.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the true reason behind the long weekend.

As we clean homes and prepare welcoming spaces for our wonderful vacationers here on the Outer Banks, we do so with deep gratitude—for the freedoms we enjoy, for the beauty we’re blessed to live and work in, and most importantly, for the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice to make all of this possible.

For me, this day carries a weight that is both personal and powerful. My brother, Jonathan Walker, proudly served in the Virginia National Guard before his passing. He was brave, selfless, and deeply committed to this country and those he loved. Jonathan is the guiding light behind Coastal Cleaning 252, and every day I carry his strength, discipline, and heart with me as I build this business and serve our community.

Memorial Day is not just about cookouts and beach days—it’s about remembrance. It’s about honoring the fallen heroes who laid down their lives so we could live freely. It’s about recognizing that the liberties we enjoy—whether it’s spending time with family, relaxing on the beach, or building a small business—come at a tremendous cost.

As we step into this busy season, our team at Coastal Cleaning 252 is working hard to give families clean, peaceful spaces to relax and make memories. And while we do that, we remember and honor those who made it possible for us to enjoy these freedoms in this beautiful corner of America.

We honor them. We thank them. We remember them—today and always.

Happy Thanksgiving!🍁 I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for someone who has shaped so much of who I am—my dad, Sam Walker, of Sam Walker OBX.

My father is not only the other half of who I am but also a cornerstone of our beautiful community. He is my guiding force, instilling in me a deep appreciation for North Carolina and the incredible history of the Outer Banks. His unwavering love and dedication to this region has shaped much understanding of the land we call home. His unmatched passion for preserving and sharing the beauty of the Outer Banks connects us to our roots and reminds us why we are so fortunate to live in such a special place.

Through his work on Sam Walker OBX, he brings to life the richness of our community and inspires us to appreciate and protect it. Dad, I’m so thankful for your voice, your passion, and your love for this beautiful town we share. You’ve shown me the power of gratitude and the importance of giving back to the place that gives so much to us.

This Thanksgiving, I’m thankful for family, for community, and for the opportunity to cherish and celebrate the land and history we hold dear.
